One of the most important targets of the study association is the exchange of knowledge from practice and education between businesses, organizations and students. We aim to cooperate with companies and organizations within the real estate and urban systems sectors in order to fulfil the role of mediator between students, the industry and the university. By doing this, SERVICE stays informed on recent developments in the full width of the field. This is of great added value to Urban Systems and Real Estate students who come into contact with the association and therefore the profession via their memberships. Alongside students, SERVICE is also of relevance to corporations and organizations within the line of work. Partners of SERVICE have the opportunity to gain insight into the most recent research and receive information from graduation theses.

A close collaboration between corporate and student life is therefore of utter importance. With the organization of a variety of activities such as lectures, excursions, symposia, in-house days and study trips SERVICE tries to realize the stated goal. Besides these activities, SERVICE releases the SERVICE Magazine once a year. This magazine has grown to become a full-fledged trade journal for students, alumni and businesses. With 1400 readers, the magazine belongs to the largest real estate journals in the industry.

The continuation of SERVICE is dependent on support from private parties. The study association offers several opportunities to promote your organization, for example by the placement of an advertisement in our magazine or the organization of an in-house day. For more information on sponsorship opportunities you can contact Cas Dodemont and Libby Schuilenburg.
